I photograph events and things that attract me first. In spite of a social request or a market request: not covered social issues, studies on the environment ecology (urban and industrial mostly) and human interaction with this environment. I'm attracted to the implementation of non-obvious visual solutions, which are still have a power of the document. I passioned with catching facts that cannot be studied in other ways: those facts that are coming from clash between perception and being.
As documentary photographer and photojournalist I looking for phenomenons, facts and events witch I can explore with photography. I reject the question of the objectivity and reliability of a photograph as a document and I believe that subjective perception, cultural experience and personal values are inalienable parts of photography method. That is why phenomenological aesthetic is the main concept I am stand on in my work. However, I strongly adhere to a documentary ethics: alterations of scene or material or pushing events in any way are strictly unacceptable.
